We were notified late last week that the City of Murphy, due to the ongoing pandemic, has opted to cancel the Murphy Craft Beer Fest, Tunes, Tails, and Ales 2023. We will be bringing the event back in the Spring of 2021.
We have already processed all refunds at this point to your original method of payment.

Due to overwhelming feedback, we will be incorporating all kids’ activities into the festival area where the craft beer tasting happens. This will be a larger area, with more things for the whole family, and will make entry/exit much cleaner and easier.

Welcome to the 2nd annual Murphy Craft Beer Fest, Tunes, Tails and Ales! This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2022. The producers of Big Texas Beer Fest have teamed up once again with the City of Murphy to produce another world-class event.
Last year’s event received a ZENITH GOLD award (the highest honor) from the Texas Festivals and Events award ceremony!
We’re expecting over 150 beers, HUNDREDS of pounds of crawfish, TONS of kids activities, some AWESOME local artists including Le Freak (the Greatest Disco Band in the World), and much more. Grab your craft beer sampling tickets today to save a few bucks.
Don’t want to participate in the beer sampling event? No worries, as we’re also adding Texas wine by the glass, alongside full canned beers available for individual purchase. The beer-sampling area is all ages friendly, but folks under 21 must be escorted with a responsible 21+ guardian.

Welcome to the 1st Murphy Craft Beer Fest, Tunes, Tails and Ales! This event is scheduled for May 14, 2021 and is being co-produced by the City of Murphy, and Brewvolution, LLC. Brewvolution is known for producing one of the Southwest’s largest beer events, the Big Texas Beer Fest.
This event should attract 30-50 breweries. We should have a final brewery list published within 7-10 days of this writing. In addition, we’ve got a crawfish boil (until they run out!), activities for the kids in our Pint-Sized Place including our splash pad, bounce houses, a Root Beer tasting challenge and more! Expect a handful of food trucks, a free concert with headliners Rise & Shine, and of course the craft beer area.
If you want to drink some craft beers, but don’t want to participate in our sampling area, we’ll have a handful of canned beers available for purchase outside the sampling session. The sampling session is all-ages friendly. Those under 21 must be escorted by their responsible guardians who are 21+. Anyone 21+ in the craft beer sampling area must purchase a ticket.
